Amazon

Restore

Shading out the bullshit since 2023

(Huh?)

“Guys, I Think We’re Fucked.”

The Amazon Rainforest is one of the world’s most significant ecosystems facing devastation due to animal agriculture.
The vast majority of deforestation is for the purpose of grazing animals and growing crops to feed to animals.

This large-scale deforestation reduces rainfall, exposes soil to erosion, and increases the likelihood of fires.
The impact of this catastrophe reaches far beyond the Amazon Basin and has disastrous effects around the world.
Destruction of forest in order to exploit animals is the leading cause of human-influenced climate change.

Amazon Restore is a reforestation project with the aim of shading out animal agriculture and non-native plantations with
vibrant biodiverse forest in order to restore the health of the ecosystem and the habitat of the native animals.

WHAT CAN WE DO?

Empathy and awareness are not enough. What is needed is immediate action. Amazon Restore gives everyone the opportunity to participate in reversing the damage being done to this precious and irreplaceable resource.

AMAZON RESTORE

This is the larger-scale project focused on acquiring land that is currently being used for purposes that contribute to the degradation of the Amazon Rainforest. We match would-be fruiterraristnoun: someone who blatantly plants as much fruit as possible, regardless of what non-fruitarians may think, with the aim of creating an alternative to Babylons with land that they can restore themselves, and we also facilitate group land buys in order to acquire more land in need of restoration.
This allows anyone to participate in a results-driven endeavour at whatever level they are capable of.
