Amazon Restorations

Saving the Amazon Rainforest is a huge project that nobody can do alone. No solitary reforestation effort can reach all of the diverse ecosystems in Amazonia, and so we are creating a decentralised restoration network in order to do our part to combat the destruction of the rainforest. We especially focus on acquiring deforested land in areas with high conservation value, where we apply an ethical freedom-based model of reforestation and sustainable food production while protecting the native forest that remains.

Here we list Amazon Restore’s independent restoration projects where veganarchists who share Amazon Restore’s Core Values can acquire land in an ecosystem that is being destroyed by cattle grazing, monoculture farming, mining, or other anti-ecological activities, to reforest while creating self-sufficiency and living among like-minded neighbours.

Badass Fruiterrarist Land

Badass Fruiterrarist Land is our flagship restoration effort in the Ecuadorian Amazon, located in a beautiful valley near the Sumaco Napo-Galeras National Park with gentle rolling hills, many rivers, streams, and waterfalls, superb weather year-round, and tons of space for growing a large-scale sustainable food forest.

This area still has plenty of wild jungle to protect, but most of the land near the road has been completely deforested and is used for cattle and cacao farming. Large farms are available at a low cost per hectare to grow your food and live your way, but with the friendship and support of like-minded people around you.

Buy your own land or share with others to conserve and reforest, with the opportunity to ditch Babylonnoun: the entire matrix of the financial, legal, industrial, military, media, medical, education, entertainment, transportation, technology, religious, and virtually every other man-made complex and live freely in the tropics while collaborating to revive an ecosystem and grow a radical abundance of fruit.

Restoring and protecting the Amazon Rainforest is crucial to the continued existence of all of the life that depends on it — which probably includes you! Joining any of the Amazon Restorations listed above is an excellent way to take real action toward the conservation of this precious natural resource as well as toward your own freedom and food security.

If none of the locations listed here seem quite right for you, but you live in another part of the Amazon or have experience managing projects like these, then we encourage you to read through our vision and mission and our Core Values if you have not already done so. If what you read resonates strongly with you, you are welcome to join us by starting a new Amazon restoration project and expanding our reforestation effort to a new area where it is needed. Share some information about yourself in the questionnaire, and let’s start the conservation conversation.
